Everyone Reaches for Peaches!

It’s that glorious time of year again, and the peach crop is magnificent. The smell, the taste, the luscious color…What’s not to love about peaches? And we’re here to help you make each and every day peach perfect!

Try peaches in your oatmeal—but dice them first and coat them with cinnamon. Get really fancy and whip up a batch of Browned Butter Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon "Toast" Brioche Crumbs. That’s a mouthful in more ways than one! But just think of the sublime union of flavors--honey, cinnamon sugar, vanilla, and more cinnamon.

How about incorporating peaches into your BBQ? Pork and peaches just seem made for each other. Start with a nice cut—like a tenderloin. Brush on some oil and then rub it down with our Herbs de Provence blend. Grill as usual. (This also works well with chops or chicken.) Then for a delectable side, simply cut fresh peaches in half, remove the pit, and apply a bit of oil to the fleshy side. Grill cut-side down about 4-5 minutes until those wonderful sear lines appear. Flip and continue to grill another 4-5 minutes until the skin is nicely charred.

Gathering for coffee and dessert? Wow your family and friends with Skillet-Fried Peaches. Go the extra mile and grate cinnamon sticks and whole nutmeg for off-the-charts flavor.

While you’re pondering all of this and searching out other recipes, brew up a cup of peachy tea. We offer a plethora of possibilities. Excellent served hot or iced, Midsummer Peach is a decaffeinated blend of Ceylon black tea and peach flavoring. One of the most popular tea blends in the world, Ginger Peach starts with China black tea and promises just the right balance of peach and ginger.

Peach lovers will delight in Peach Oolong. Similar in caffeine content to that of a green tea, this oolong is fragrant and sweet like a perfectly ripe fruit. Even peachier when iced, it brews with a smooth astringency and lingering floral aroma. A glorious balance of green tea, sweet peaches, tart lemons, and papaya, Peach Lemonade is a crowd-pleaser when iced in a pitcher with lemon wedges.

As elegant as it sounds, Lavender Peach features rose and lavender mingling with apples and papaya flavoring for an herbal tea that softly whispers, “Summer.” Another herbal delight, Peach Apricot is fruit-juicy and refreshing, with notes of peach, apricot, hibiscus, papaya, pineapple, apple, and marigold.

White Peach combines a base of Fujian white tea with aromatic peach, apricot, and marigold petals. It’s hard to say whether it’s better hot or iced. Try it both ways and decide for yourself. In fact, try them all in rotation and have a truly peach-perfect end of summer.
